Star Wars Potato Head Toys

Check out the new Star Wars Potato Head characters. Mr. Potato Head has been around since the 1950s but this spud has gone galactic. Darth Tater, the first Star Wars Potato Head toy, was released in 2005 and proved so popular that others have followed. In 2009, three new Star Wars spuds were added to the line and are being offered through sale through Disney theme parks. Here's a look at all of Mr. Potato Head's Star Wars looks.

Artoo Potatoo, a spud based on the droid R2-D2, was one of the first Star Wars potato head characters, and he's still available today through major retail stores. If you love the little blue and white droid, this is the one for you.

Now the Dark Side is making potato clones! This Spud Trooper is in the service of Darth Tater.

Darth Tater was the original Star Wars Potato Head. This was the press release Hasbro put out shortly before Darth potato head's release in early 2005.

Hasbro Introduces New MR. POTATO HEAD As Darth Vader

Five more Star Wars Potato Head characters were released exclusively through the Disney theme parks for a limited period, but these characters - Luke Frywalker, Yam Solo, Darth Mash Maul, Spuda Fett and Princess Tater - are now available through online resellers.

Darth Mash Maul was another Disney park exclusive that is now available through online resellers. If you're a fan of The Dark Side, don't miss this one.

The Force is strong in this one. This Luke Skywalker toy was originally offered as a Disney exclusive, but now you can purchase it online through Amazon.

The Millennium Falcon's famous pilot from the original trilogy has a spud in his likeness, too.

Would Jabba the Hut still want to turn Princess Leia into a slave if he saw this spud version of her? We may never know.

Trying to find all of the Star Wars spuds can be a challenge, but this set contains eight toys in a complete set.

Chipbacca, the Chewbacca potato head toy, is one of the three Star Wars potato head characters released in 2009. Although all three of the new releases are supposed to be available only at Disney theme parks, you can also find them on eBay.

Mashter Yoda is also new for 2009. The Yoda potato head is one of the three new Star Wars potato head characters released this year through Disney theme parks.

C-3PO's spud alter ego is known as C-3PotatO and is one of the three Star Wars potato head characters released in 2009. He's available through the Disney theme parks or online avenues such as eBay.
