Disney/Pixar Brave Movie Toys and Books

"Brave" is the new Disney/Pixar movie set for release June 22, 2012. Although the movie isn't out yet, you can preorder some Brave movie toys and books online from stores like Amazon. These books and toys will be released right around the same time as the movie, but you can get a sneak peek of a few of the items that will be coming. Princess Merida is Pixar's first female protagonist

The Disney/Pixar movie "Brave" stars Kelly Macdonald as the voice of Princess Merida, the headstrong daughter of King Fergus (voiced by Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson). Merida goes against ancient traditions and creates chaos in her parents' kingdom. Shen then turns to an old witch for help and receives an "ill-fated wish." She must then discover the meaning of true bravery to undo a "beastly curse" and set things right.

One of the new Mattel dolls will feature Princess Merida in a blue gown and crown, while the other features her with a bow, arrow and cape.
